__________________As integral members of humanity, we feel the planetary urge and necessity for peace in all spheres of life. Seeking peace is not merely “fighting the enemy”, as health and wellbeing are not simply “fighting disease”. It is essential to cultivate holistic healthy conditions to achieve individual and collective health, in the same way that we can create sustainable peace, building its foundations on beauty, truth and kindness. At SOLAR GUADALUPE we have endeavoured to create a space dedicated to cultivate this ideal as a real entity.

 

BEAUTY

__________________Solar is situated on the edge of the chapada (plateau) with a splendid view to the mountains, the rocks, gardens and surrounds are typical of the native cerrado (brazilian savanna). It is hoped that in this ambience together with good services, a rustic but comfortable infrastructure, visitors and participants of events at Solar can return to their daily lives with a positive energy and experiences for developing individual and collective insights, thus releasing a contagious beauty to their relationships, attitudes and lives. As philosophy tells us: “Aesthetics is the ethics of the future.”

TRUTH

__________________Each day the rising of the sun reminds us of God’s presence. “Knowing oneself” is a continuous and important process and is essential in order to gain peace and serenity. Without this knowledge, we may be misguided by circumstances. The world can present us with disturbances, but if we are in touch with the Reality, we can play the earthly game as conscious players, having “serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

KINDNESS

__________________There is an indescribable generosity in the way that God disseminates his presence throughout the universes. The vastness of valleys and seas is not enough to contain the glory poured by the Source, yet it can be contained within the heart. We are God walking on the face of the earth, looking through the lens of our own eyes. For many of us the ability to listen to life’s call is latent. Remembering that the presence of light is much more expansive than the shadow, it is true, and beautiful, to realize that we can change the world with acts of generosity. First internally; then externally, multiplying exponentially. When we tune our intentions to flow with the stream of love that originates and is the Source, we guarantee to ourselves that this action will also serve his will, on earth as it is in heaven.
